Kogatende Mobile Camp

Mobile camps are how the northern Serengeti is properly done. This one moves twice a year, and between July and October it sits within forty minutes of the main Mara crossing points, which matters enormously, because crossings happen with no warning and the drive is the difference between seeing one and hearing about it.

Six tents, one long table, a fire. It is simpler than the permanent camps and costs more, which surprises people until they understand what it takes to put a camp somewhere with no road, no power and no water.
