Villa Kiva Boutique Hotel

Originally a private family villa at Matemwe on the northeast coast, now a twenty-eight room hotel. Garden-view rooms, sea-view suites and family rooms, all with air conditioning, ceiling fans, a mini-fridge and a private veranda or balcony.

Two pools, a spa, a beach restaurant and bar, a lounge and a shop. The kitchen mixes Zanzibari cooking with European dishes and leans on fresh seafood. There is a dive centre booking desk on site, and snorkelling, safaris and cultural trips can be arranged.
